WVU Transfer DL Jordan Jefferson Commits to LSU

Published

on

Former Mountaineer defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson has found a new college home.

Jefferson announced he’s committing to LSU Friday afternoon. News broke about his plans to transfer from West Virginia last week and he’s now already made his choice. The Florida native will now bring his experience from his time at WVU to the Tigers.

Jefferson posted 31 total tackles and three sacks during the 2022 season. This was his best individual season by far out of his four years with the Mountaineers. His previous career high in tackles in a season were 17 in 2021. Dante Stills‘ graduation and the loss of other players, could’ve meant an even bigger role for Jefferson as one of the defensive anchors and leaders come 2023 for the Mountaineers.
