WVU Well Represented on Annual Shrine Bowl 1000 List

The annual East-West Shrine Bowl has established itself as one of the premiere events throughout the NFL Draft process. And now the Shrine Bowl has made it known it will be watching several WVU players to see if they earn invites.

The Shrine Bowl included 11 Mountaineers on its annual list of 1,000 draft eligible players most likely to be part of the event after the coming season. This group of 11 is an increase from seven West Virginia players being placed on this list at this same point one year ago.

In no particular order, Garrett Greene, Wyatt Milum, Aubrey Burks, Garnett Hollis, Sean Martin, Ty French, Kole Taylor, Austin Brinkman, TJ Jackson, Brandon Yates, and Tyrin Bradley all made the cut.

The Shrine Bowl released a message about its this list.

“Every year, approximately 1000 all-star game eligible players are drafted, signed after the draft, or attend a rookie mini-camp. Our aim is for this Shrine Bowl 1000 to serve as a look into our scouting process, as well as begin to preview college players who are currently all-star game eligible for the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl and 2024 NFL Draft class.

Putting together this list was extremely challenging for our team, as we scouted players from all four levels of football and consulted with NFL and college personnel to ensure the selection of the best 1000 players for the NFL level.

The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington,TX on January 30, 2025. Our players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.For more information about the 2025 game, you can visit this link.”
