The Mountaineers finished the season 22-7, 13-5 in the Big 12 conference. They made a Big 12 title game appearance, losing to Baylor, and made it to the second round of the NCAA women’s national tournament, losing to Georgia Tech.
Redshirt-senior guard Kysre Gondrezick was named a unanimous All-Big 12 First Team selection and an Honorable Mention All-American following the season.
The only other Big 12 team in the final ranking was No. 5 Baylor, who made it to the Elite Eight this March.
