West Virginia’s Kysre Gondrezick has been named an All-American Honorable Mention by the Associated Press, the AP announced Wednesday.

Gondrezick, a redshirt-senior guard, led WVU in scoring this season, averaging 19.9 points per game. She shot 41.8% from the field and 34.5% from 3-point range and led the team with 117 assists. She was named a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 First Team.

Gonrezick has reached the 20-point threshold in 14 games this season and averaged 18.7 points per game in the Big 12 tournament, leading WVU to the championship game against Baylor.

Gondrezick and the Mountaineers were selected as a No. 4 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament. WVU will play No. 13 seed Lehigh in the opening round. That game will tip-off at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday from San Antonio, Rexas.
