WVU’s Darius Stills Named an ESPN All-American

West Virginia senior defensive tackle Darius Stills has been named an ESPN All-American.

A senior from Fairmont, Stills had 22 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and an interception as WVU’s nose guard this season. He announced on Twitter that he intends to turn pro following this season and will play in WVU’s bowl game. He finishes his WVU career with 79 tackles, 26 for loss and 12 sacks.

Stills was named the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year this season and was on the All-Big 12 First-Team. He had 31 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks this season.

Stills has been included on several post-season award lists, including the Lott IMPACT Trophy and the CLASS Award. Stills has also been invited to participate in this season’s East-West Shrine Bowl and Hula Bowl.

The senior’s final game with the Mountaineers will come Dec. 31 against Army in the Liberty Bowl.
