West Virginia defensive tackle Darius Stills has been invited to participate in the 2021 Hula Bowl.

The 2021 Hula Bowl is scheduled to take place in Honolulu, Hawaii on Jan. 31. Stills was also selected to the 2021 East-West Shrine Bowl, however, the Shrine Bowl has canceled this year’s in-person activities.

A senior from Fairmont, Stills has 22 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and an interception as WVUโ€™s nose guard this season. On Monday, he was named a semifinalist for this season’s Lott IMPACT Trophy. Teammate Tony Fields II will also be participating in a postseason all-star bowl, accepting an invitation to the 2021 Senior Bowl.

The honor is the latest on a long list that the Fairmont native has accrued this year. He was recentlyย named a candidate for the CLASS Award, he was named aย Chuck Bednarik Awardย andย Big 12 player of the weekย after a four-tackle, 2.5-sack game against Bayor, he was also named aย preseason All-American, theย Big 12 preseason defensive player of the yearย and is on theย Senior Bowl watch list.
