WVU Football CB recruit Elgin Sessions

As the weekend comes to a close, the first domino from another big recruiting weekend for the WVU football program finally drops. Elgin Sessions commits to join West Virginia’s 2025 class late Sunday night.

Sessions, a 6-foot, 180-pound three-star cornerback out of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., picked the Mountaineers over offers from programs like Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Liberty, Marshall, Stanford, Wake Forest and several others.

Sessions commits after spending the weekend on campus. He initially earned an offer in late January from secondary coach ShaDon Brown. Sessions also took part in a football camp for recruits at Clemson earlier this week.

With the secondary always a focus, the Mountaineers can relax a bit with Sessions locked up and others likely to follow.
