2026 Texas Safety Rickey Giles Picks WVU Football Over Big 12 Foe

The WVU football program added more help for the future secondary on Monday when Rickey Giles announced his commitment.

A product of Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, Giles is listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds. He picked WVU over Memphis and Utah and also had offers from schools like Boise State, North Texas, Oregon State, Purdue, San Diego State, Texas State, Tulsa, UTEP and UTSA among others.
WVU sent Giles an official offer in April.
Giles recorded 51 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and a sack in 14 games as a junior in 2024.
