Harler, a native of Moundsville, W.Va, spent four seasons in Morgantown, playing a key role off the bench for Bob Huggins’ Mountaineers. In four seasons, Harler averaged 3.5 points, one rebound and one assist per game while shooting 37% from the field and 31% from 3-point range.
As a senior, Harler averaged 4.4 points per game, 1.1 rebounds and one assist per game while playing in 31 games (two starts) in the COVID-shortened season.
Before heading to Sweden for the season later this year, Harler will continue to be involved with Best Virginia’s TBT run. BV will play Team 23 in the Round of 16 with tip-off scheduled for 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Big shoutout to @ChaseHarler4 who organized the Wheeling leg of our journey this year. We had a great crowd at our first exhibition game there, and the kids today at our camp were great! Future Mountaineers!!
