WVU’s Gabe Osabuohien Named Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year
On Sunday night, the Big 12 Conference named West Virginia forward Gabe Osabuohien as the Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Osabuohien will share the honor with Oklahoma State’s Moussa Cisse and Baylor’s Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua.
Osabuohien was also named the Big 12 All-Defensive Team. In his final season with the Mountaineers, the Ontario native averaged 5.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks through 29 games.
