Broome has spent his first two seasons at Morehead State under head coach Preston Spradlin. The Plant City, Fl, native was selected to the Ohio Valley All-Team in back-to-back seasons. In his freshman year, West Virginia went up against Broome and the Eagles in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Broome recorded 10 points, nine rebounds and three blocks against former WVU player Derek Culver.
Broome recently threw his name into the 2022 NBA draft, but did not hire an agent, leaving him open to return to college depending on the level of interest he receives. He has three years of college eligibility remaining.
