A Couple of Former WVU RB Targets Officially Sign With New Schools
West Virginia picked up a transfer commitment from former Clemson four-star running back Lyn-J Dixon on Thanksgiving, helping to fill a void in the 2022 recruiting class, and now a couple of former WVU targets have officially signed with other programs.
Four-star running back Justin Williams from East Paulding High School in East Paulding, Georgia committed to WVU over the summer, but after picking up offers from Tennessee, Michigan and others throughout the fall, he decommitted in November.
He’s officially signed Tennessee, On3Recruiting’s Chad Simmons reported, and he’ll join the Volunteers over interest from Auburn.

Another WVU target, four-star running back Ramon Brown from Midlothian High School in Manchester, Virginia, also signed with his future school Wednesday morning.
Brown originally listed WVU as a finalist before committing to Virginia Tech in July. While Brown appeared to be steady in his commitment to the Hokies, the WVU staff visited Brown at his home recently. However, Brown flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech to Maryland Wednesday morning, 247Sports’ Brian Dohn reported.
