Backyard Brawl single-game tickets sold out within minutes of West Virginia releasing them at 10 a.m. on Monday.

West Virginia offered a limited number of single-game tickets to the first Backyard Brawl in Morgantown in over a decade.

WVU was previously forcing fans to purchase a mini-package in order to get tickets to the Backyard Brawl. This priority offer will be online only and fans can take advantage of this by logging into their account at WVUGAME.com. From there, users will navigate to “Event List,” then to “Football” and finally “Football Home Games” to get a ticket.

Pricing will be determined by seating with a colored coded tier system signifying the difference in sections. The red tier-one sections are the highest, the gold tier-two sections are next, followed by the orange tier-three sections at the mid-point price.

Separate from this offer, Mountaineer fans can still buy WVU-Pitt mini-package tickets in either the Gold or Blue mini-package packagers. To do so, visit WVUGAME.com or call 1-800-WVU GAME.

West Virginia will look to claim revenge over Pitt after losing in Pittsburgh last season. The 2023 edition of the Backyard Brawl will be WVU’s third game of the season and second at home at Milan Puskar Stadium.
