The 2025 Best Virginia team has its head coach. Making his return to Best Virginia since the team’s TBT debut in 2019, Jarrod West will serve as head coach during the upcoming summer event, as announced by the affiliated Final Fourcast podcast.

The veteran head coach of Notre Dame High School in Clarksburg, played at WVU from 1994-98. West is remembered fondly by Mountaineer fans for hitting the game-winning shot in the second round of the 1998 NCAA Tournament to beat Cincinnati and send West Virginia to the Sweet 16.

West replaces his Best Virginia University of Charleston head coach James Long and Chase Harler.

The TBTย returns to West Virginia this year as the 2025 West Virginia Regional will be played in the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center from July 18-23. Charleston previously hosted TBT regionals in 2021 and 2022.
