Carlik Jones Chooses Louisville Over WVU, Others

Former Radford star Carlik Jones has committed to transfer to Lousiville, he announced via Instagram.

Last week Jones had reportedly narrowed his decision down to eight schools, including West Virginia, Louisville and Radford. WVU had been in contact with Jones as early as March 25.

The Big South Player of the Year averaged 20 points, 5.5 assists and 5.1 rebounds for the Highlanders last season. Louisville went 24-7 in 2019-20, finished No. 14 in the final AP Poll.

With the transfer of Brandon Knapper, this means WVU will still have at least one more scholarship available this offseason.
