WVU football has spent the week sending offers all over the state of Florida, and Jamorie Flagg is right up there as a prospect with any of them.

Flagg (6-foot-3, 300 pounds), a three-star defensive end in the class of 2024, announced his offer from WVU late Tuesday night on Twitter. Even though he’s a defensive player, he recognized WVU wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall in the tweet. Marshall has been tasked with leading the recruiting charge into the southern states, most notably Florida.

A Miami native Flagg has one more season of high school left at Booker T. Washington High School, a school of focus for WVU. He’s considered a top 100 overall Florida recruit by multiple national outlets (ESPN and Rivals).

Flagg has experience all over the defensive line and is most commonly listed as defensive end, but has the size that could allow him to play other positions on the defensive line like defensive tackle.

He is projected to Florida State, but also has offers from Colorado, FIU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Temple in addition to the Mountaineers.
