Colorado State defensive back Rashad Ajayi committed to West Virginia late on Friday night. Ajayi made the announcement on his Twitter account.

“It’s already written, it’s time to spin again. Long live my pops,” Ajayi said.

Ajayi (5-foot-11, 190 pounds) played four seasons at Colorado State, appearing in 34 games for the Rams. The Atlanta native recorded 76 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one interception during his time in Fort Collins.

With Ajayi’s commitment, it marks the second transfer that WVU’s coaching staff has been able to pick up from Colorado State. On Dec. 22, CSU tight end Brian Polendey chose to continue his collegiate career at West Virginia.
