Are you not entertained? That’s the question Anthony Becht might be asking earning his first win as a head coach in the XFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks comeback victory on Sunday.

After trailing by as much as 15-3, Alabama product quarterback A.J. McCarron led the Battlehawks on an improbable 4th quarter that included going for it on a 4th down and 15.

Becht spoke about his quarterback after the game, making note of how happy he was for McCarron, who embarked on a career in media after quickly realizing his college career may not translate to the NFL.

“That’s a helluva moment for him. He hasn’t had a drive like that since Bama. I love it.”

McCarron completed 18 of 26 passes for 190 yards with two touchdowns in the game.

The former West Virginia tight end who is mostly known for his time with the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets as a player the NFL was mic’d up by ESPN during their broadcast of the game.

The 1-0 Battlehawks will have a quick turn around for their next game as they will take on the Seattle Sea Dragons on Thursday night.
