Despite his team winning, Monday Night Football was not a great night for 49ers offensive tackle Colton McKivitz.

The West Virginia product, who was filling in for an injured Trent Williams, left the game against the Rams with a knee injury. Soon after exiting the game, McKivitz was ruled out for the rest of the night. His status moving forward is unknown at this time.

Monday night was McKivitz’s 16th NFL game appearance. He’s started 4 of them. After a stellar college career at WVU, San Francisco drafted the Mountaineer in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

During his time in Morgantown, McKivitz was named the co-Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year as a junior. In 2019, he was named a first-team All-Big 12 player.
