MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Sophomore wide receiver Rodney Gallagher’s first career touchdown in a Mountaineer uniform capped off an epic comeback win for WVU.

Gallagher’s touchdown helped the Mountaineers complete a come-from-behind win against the Kansas Jayhawks to start the conference schedule 1-0.

WVU Football has a much needed bye week next Saturday after a disappointing start to the season and multiple injuries sustained in the win over Kansas.

The team still has issues, but this miraculous win should give them a lot of confidence. That’s the kind of play calling and enthusiasm that were missing down the stretch at Pitt.
But the defense’s effort in the last few minutes of the KU game really impressed me.
It’s too bad that a lot of fans didn’t stick around to see it.
    Go Mountaineers!
