CINCINNATI — It got dicey late, but WVU football held on to defeat Cincinnati on the road, 31-24 on Saturday.

It was the third road Big 12 win in a row for the Mountaineers, who improved to 5-4 on the season and 4-2 in conference play.

For a related story, WVU head coach Neal Brown voiced being disappointed with the offense after the game despite the win.
