The WVU football program has been conducting camps for high school players all throughout June. And on Wednesday, held a 7-on-7 tournament. This marked a special of camp and allowed prospects from all over to come together to compete on the historic Mountaineer Field.

Below shows videos of some of these players in action. The West Virginia staff was impressed enough with some of them to show interest in them as members of future recruiting classes.

Among the stars of the camp was Dorian Rutledge, a three-star cornerback out of Middletown High School in Delaware. WVU sent him an offer in late May. He was actually one of the first 2026 recruits the WVU coaching staff reached out to when the contact period opened up on June 15.

Media from up north in Pittsburgh even made the short trip down south to check out some of the Western Pennsylvania players who were taking part in the tournament.
