In the Holler: Transfer DB Ty Crutcher on Vibe of WVU Football Program, Chance to Compete

Transfer defensive back Ty Crutcher decided to join the WVU football program for one main reason – he liked what he heard from the coaching staff.
A few days after committing to West Virginia, Crutcher opened up about his new opportunity with WV Sports Now.
Crutcher announced his commitment on social media Sunday evening. He entered the transfer portal late last month.
Crutcher (5-foot-10, 175 pounds) played for the University of West Florida in Division II last season. The Alabama native picked up 13 tackles with one interception and four pass breakups.
As for why WVU, Crutcher said the program just felt like home.
