Jordan Harrison Waived By Portland Fire Days After Making Team
Former WVU basketball guard Jordan Harrison has been waived by the Portland Fire of the WNBA, the team announced on Monday.
Harrison appeared in the Fire’s only game so far this season, scoring nine points on 2-5 shooting with four assists and three rebounds.
After going undrafted, West Virginia star guard Jordan Harrison signed with the WNBAโs expansion Portland Fire on April 16.
Harrison capped off her WVU tenure with a Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year nod, averaging 13.2 points per game and totaling 106 steals in two years as a Mountaineer.
Harrison followed head coach Mark Kellogg to Morgantown in 2023 when he was hired from Stephen F. Austin.
