KY OL Receives Offer, “Can’t Wait to Visit”

West Virginia head coach Neal Brown is back in his home state of Kentucky, offering Louisville 2020 offensive tackle John Young.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Young holds over 18 offers, including Michigan, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, and Penn State, but was thrilled when the Mountaineers came knocking.

“It was a thrill,” Young commented on his West Virginia offer. “They are a great program and I can’t wait to visit. I think the Big 12 is a great conference and they play very high-scoring offense, which I find attractive as an offensive player.”

Young could visit as soon as March 2nd and plans on committing on July 6th.

And when that decision comes, Young added what matters most to him is “great academics and great football” and that he plans on pursuing a degree in business in college.
