WVU basketball hosted 2025 guards Kelvin Odih and Omari Witherspoon over the weekend. Odih, four-star, and Witherspoon, three-star, were on campus for the WVU-Penn State football game.

Here are their pictures from the visit: Odih (#5), Witherspoon (#0).

Odih is considering West Virginia in his recruitment, as he released his top six schools on Aug. 9. Odih is also looking at Colorado, Creighton, Louisville, Oklahoma State and Rutgers.

Odih, 6-foot-4, is a rising senior at South Kent School in Connecticut. Odih has received offers from Albany, Colorado, Creighton, Florida State, George Mason, Iowa, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Sacred Heart, SMU, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Xavier and others. Odih completed a visit to Marquette last December.

Witherspoon, a 6-foot-6 prospect, has completed visits to Maryland, Vanderbilt, WVU and Pitt within the last week. He also plans on visiting Virginia Tech, Butler and Clemson coming up. Witherspoon will not schedule any other visits after that group, per source.

Witherspoon recently included West Virginia in his top 10 list. Along with WVU, Witherspoon is also considering Butler, Clemson, George Mason, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Pitt, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Xavier.

Odih spoke with WV Sports Now about his visit, which included meeting former Mountaineer Deuce McBride.

“Everything was great. I really enjoyed my time over there. The coaching staff was very welcoming,” he said.
