Sunday night became the latest big game performance for Miles McBride. The former WVU guard scored 16 points in the Knicks’ 107-98 win over Cleveland.

Not only did McBride produce offensively, but he did so while leading his team in minutes played. McBride played 47 minutes and added 5 rebounds and an assist while going 6-15 from the field and 4-9 from three.

Below is a video of one of McBride’s top highlights of the night.

McBride recently signed a $13 million extension with the Knicks over the next three years. The Knicks have traded away many players throughout the season, including during Thursday’s trade deadline.

McBride is averaging 6.1 points while averaging 13.22 minutes per contest.

McBride saw more opportunities during his second year in the NBA with the Knicks. McBride appeared in 64 games during the 2022-23 season. McBride averaged 3.5 points and 1.1 assists last season. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native shot 36 percent from the field. The Knicks picked up McBride’s team option before NBA free agency began this past offseason.

Miles McBride played two seasons at West Virginia from 2019-21, leading the Mountaineers to an NCAA Tournament appearance during his sophomore year. McBride averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
