Pair of WVU Basketball Signees Nominated to McDonald’s All-American Game

WVU Basketball HC Ross Hodge and top recruit Miles Sadler

WVU basketball 2026 signees guard Miles Sadler and guard Kingston Whitty have been nominated to the McDonald’s All-American Game, the team announced.

Sadler was nominated for the West team while Whitty was named to the East team.

Sadler is ranked as a 5-star recruit, a Top 5 point guard and a Top 25 recruit in the class of 2026 by numerous scouting services. He is the highest-rated recruit to sign with West Virginia, according to the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

Sadler is a 6-foot guard from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, and currently attends Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Ariz. Last year as a junior, he averaged 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.

Whitty is a 6-foot-2 guard from Mableton, Ga., and currently attends Christ School in Arden, N.C. Whitty committed in early October.

He played AAU basketball for Pro One on the UAA Circuit. Whitty wrapped up AAU play averaging 18.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He was named Co-MVP of the 2026 Select 80 last fall.

Whitty is a 4-star recruit by ESPN and a 3-star recruit by 247 Sports & Rivals.

In addition to basketball, Whitty was a two-time Georgia state champion in track & field in the 400-meter dash and high jump.

Sadler signed a grant-in-aid to WVU on Nov. 20.
