What ya gonna do when West Virginia runs wild on you? That’s what Pat McAfee asked Penn State during a segment of his show on Tuesday.

After telling Penn State they need to look out for the Mountaineers in Week 1, McAfee complimented WVU head coach Neal Brown on his new rugged look and how aggressive he’s become when defending his team.

McAfee pointed to Brown’s rant from his recent appearance on the “Marty and McGee” show.

“I texted one of your colleagues at ESPN the other day. They did this top 100 players list in college football. ‘And I’m like, man, how do you still have a job when you’re doing a top 100 players list and Greene’s not on it.’ Cause I don’t get,” said a clearly agitated Brown.

And of course, Brown made it clear Greene is not the only Mountaineer he feels was subbed. “We got a tackle Wyatt Milum that’s gonna be a first or early second round pick. He wasn’t on the list either,” explained Brown.

Brown even sprinkled in some sarcasm into his rant. “I’m just wondering did you not get to W as you were looking at players, cause West Virginia, you know. Did you not get all way down to our name.”

McAfee then responded to some comments from his crew by closing the segment with another “West Virginia’s about to run wild on Penn State in Week 1” comment.

This is far from the first time McAfee has predicted big things for Greene and his Mountaineers. Penn State fans may even recall what McAfee said leading up to the game in State College last season. “Happy Valley is about to be GG valley! He’s a dog! He can run, he can throw, he’s unbelievable!,” said McAfee at the time.

Of course, that didn’t happen and Penn State defeated WVU 38-15. It’s safe to say McAfee will have even more to say if West Virginia claims revenge and comes out on top this year.
