WVU WBB Reaches 4-Star Prospect’s Top 8, Visit Scheduled
2025 four-star guard Destiny “Ky’She” Lunan has cut her recruitment down to eight schools, including West Virginia. Lunan, 5-foot-9, is also considering Arizona, Colorado, NC State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech, she announced on Friday afternoon.
Lunan is expected to visit West Virginia on Sept. 18 for an official visit, per 247 Sports‘ Dushawn London. Here’s Lunan’s full visit schedule.

Tennessee: Oct. 17
Lunan is a senior at Millenium High School in Scottsdale, Az. ESPN ranks Lunan as the 59th prospect in the 2025 class.
WVU women’s basketball has momentum going within the program, coming off a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament under Mark Kellogg’s first season. The Mountaineers ended up falling to the eventual national runner-ups in Iowa. Kellogg finished 25-8 during his first year at WVU, the most wins ever by a first-year coach at West Virginia. WVU was ranked nine weeks in the Associated Press poll.
