Recently Offered 2026 QB Prospect Set to Make Return Trip to WVU
With the holiday weekend now over and the WVU football staff getting back into the swing of welcoming recruits to campus, a recently offered quarterback will return to West Virginia.
Class of 2026 prospect Gavin Sidwar confirmed reports that he will be back in town for another visit soon. Sidwar is fresh off earning an official offer from the Mountaineers on May 21.
WVU quarterbacks coach Tyler Allen called Sidwar with an offer. “After a great workout and conversation with Tyler Allen, I’m blessed to be offered by WVU football,” said Sidwar while announcing the offer.ย

Listed 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Sidwar is heading into his junior season at the prestigious La Salle College High School in Warrington, Pa.
To this point in his recruitment, Sidwar has offers from Duke, Indiana, Maryland, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, USF and Virginia Tech. Indiana, Rutgers and USF also offered Sidwar in May. Boston College and Penn State have also shown interest in Sidwar.
