Report: Kwiatkoski Signing Three-Year Deal With Raiders

Joining one-time teammate Quinton Spain, former Mountaineer Nick Kwiatkoski has signed a new three-year NFL contract, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Kwiatkoski’s new deal is with the soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders. He has been in the NFL since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 draft by the Chicago Bears.

Kwiatkoski had a very productive playing career at WVU from 2012-15. He led the Mountaineers in tackles in each of his final three seasons, with 86 as a sophomore, 103 as a junior and 86 as a senior.

In 48 career college games with WVU Kwiatkoski totaled 303 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, six interceptions and three forced fumbles. He was an All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2013 and 2014 and an All-Big 12 first-team player in 2015.

Kwiatkoski started off and on in his four seasons with the Bears. He has appeared in 57 NFL games with 22 starts, totaling 184 tackles, one interception and four forced fumbles.
