Report: WVU JUCO Target Jimmy Bell Jr. Narrows List to 4 Schools
West Virginia JUCO target Jimmy Bell Jr. told Schuyler Callihan of WVU SI that he has narrowed his list to four schools: East Tennessee State, Oakland, Sam Houston State and West Virginia.

Bell (6-foot-10, 280 pounds) has spent this past season at Moberly CC in Missouri, averaging 9.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.5 blocks on 59 percent shooting. The Saginaw, MI, native spent two seasons at Saint Louis under head coach Travis Ford. Bell appeared in 50 games for the Billikens, averaging 3.1 points and 2.6 rebounds on 49 percent shooting.
Bell will come to Morgantown on Friday for his official visit.
“[I can’t wait to] meet the strength coach, look at facilities, meet other staff and find out if it’s somewhere that will feel like home,” he said.
For the past few weeks, Bell has been in talks with head coach Bob Huggins and assistant coach Ron Everhart.
“[Huggins] wants a guy he can throw it down to,” Bell Jr. said. “He is very confident that I am the guy to do it.”
