MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – After a 79-63 win over Iowa State, WVU guard Taz Sherman had some very positive thoughts to say in regards of this team moving forward.

“Once we do turn this around, I feel like it’s going to shock a whole lot of people,” Sherman said. “In terms of the world, we’re going to shock the world.”

WVU head coach Bob Huggins smirked when he heard that Sherman said that. Huggins was happy his team was all smiles after the win, but he just wants his team to take it one game at a time.

“I wish I shared that exuberance,” Huggins said. “I mean, we’ve got two hard games coming, on the road.”

West Virginia will head to Stillwater, OK, to take on Oklahoma State on Saturday, then making a stop in Manhattan, KS, to play Kansas State. WVU beat both OSU and KSU in Morgantown in January, but no game guaranteed on the road.
