Top 2025 Prospect Jasper Johnson Receives Offer from West Virginia

2025 top-30 prospect Jasper Johnson received an offer from West Virginia on Tuesday night. Johnson is a sophomore at Woodford County High School in Versailles, Ky.

Johnson announced the offer on his Instagram.

“Blessed to receive my 13th Division-I offer and my first Big 12 offer from West Virginia University,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson (6-foot-4) has received offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Cal State Bakersfield, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Ohio, Ohio State, Radford, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Johnson is rated a 4-star guard by 247 Sports, Rivals and On3 but is on the cusp for a 5-star rating.

West Virginia has been offering talented players out of the 2024 and 2025 classes as of recent. WVU has extended offers to Jalil Bethea, Del Jones, Jahseem Felton and Derik Queen in the last month.
