Both 247Sports and Rivals rank Davis as the third-best prospect in West Virginia. Behind WVU signees Zach Frazier and Sean Martin. Davis was teammates with Martin at Bluefield High School in Bluefield, WV.
Davis initially verbally committed to Toledo but reopened his recruitment on Nov. 4.

With the graduation of Kennedy McKoy, transfer of Martell Pettaway and de-commitment of Lamy Constant, West Virginia is looking to sign a running back in this year’s recruiting class.
