Former WVU safety JoVanni Stewart has found a new home.

Following in the footsteps of former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen, Stewart committed to Houston on Wednesday.

Stewart, who is a native of Katy, Texas, only played in four games this season in order to preserve his redshirt status. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

In his career at WVU, Stewart played in 40 games, accumulating 83 total tackles.
