MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – It took until the last few minutes of the first half, but a big catch by Devin Carter allowed WVU to finally take the lead over Oklahoma State.
After OSU added a field goal, quarterback Garrett Greene was able to connect with Devin Carter, who then got by the defense and scored. The 45-yard touchdown reception by Carter put WVU out in front, 17-13.

That catch was one of two receptions for Carter in the first half. He has 38 yards receiving so far in the game.
Thanks to a missed field goal by the Cowboys, West Virginia would keep the lead by that same score at half time.
