Watch: Tyson Bagent’s Dad Steals Show at NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS – If you didn’t know about Tyson Bagent, now you do thanks to his dad.

Bagent’s dad, Travis, stole the show during media availability at the NFL Combine on Friday. Instead of Bagent himself speaking, it was his dad filling in. It’s sometimes difficult for prospects from smaller lower level schools to receive the same level of recognition or coverage as other players during the NFL Draft process, but Mr. Bagent is helping to bring some of the spotlight to his son.

From talking about what he would eat if his son was taken number one overall to how much he would love if his son was drafted by the Steelers, he conducted an entertaining press conference in Indianapolis. Mr. Bagent was seen flexing and pointing to reporters to take questions.

He came off very much in his element and offered his full support of his son.

As far as what his son may bring as a player, he threw for 4,580 yards in 2022 to follow posting exactly 5,000 yards passing in 2021 at Shepherd University in Shepherstown, West Virginia. Bagent also completed 70% of his passes and tossed 41 touchdowns this past season, totaling 91 the last two years combined.
