West Virginia women’s basketball coach Mike Carey talked to members of the media via Zoom Friday morning as the Mountaineers continue to prepare for the start of the 2020-21 season.

Carey said that WVU’s non-conference schedule is finalized and will be released soon. He also announced that WVU will open the 2020-21 season by playing two games in a tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada against Fresno State and LSU. On the team, Carey said they have not yet decided if he will use a bigger lineup with more bigs or a faster one with more guards.
