West Virginia is hoping to be the choice for a talented wideout from Florida.

2022 3-star wide receiver Quan Lee has announced his intention of making a college decision this month and West Virginia is a finalist. The native of Gainesville, Florida will announce his commitment on May 26 at Buchholtz High School in Gainesville. Lee will choose between West Virginia, Penn State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Central Florida, Nebraska, Georgia Tech and Coastal Carolina.

The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver is rated as an 87 on 247Sports and has a composite score of .8628, making him one of the top 1000 players in the country and a top 100 wide receiver.

Announcing this decision date is interesting because Lee had previously announced official visits to West Virginia (June 4), Miami (June 11), Central Florida (June 18) and Pitt (June 25) but the Panthers aren’t listed as a finalist. Lee has moved up this decision date to May, whereas previously he wanted to make his decision on his dad’s birthday (July 7).

Lee possess many impressive qualities including a 40-time of 4.4 along with his team-first attitude and willingness to do whatever’s necessary to help his team win. He’s been a character player in high school and that attitude will undoubtedly carry over to college–a trait which is attractive to coaches.
