West Virginia football is showing interest in another in-state recruit by sending an offer to Tyshawn Dues.

Listed at 5-foot-11 and 171 pounds, Dues, who attends Hurricane High School as a member of the 2025 class, revealed in a tweet on Wednesday that WVU became his first Power 5 offer. He is classified as an all around athlete by most recruiting outlets, grated 247 Sports labels him a wide receiver.

Even though Dues has not yet been recognized with a star rating, he has been included among ESPN’s top 300 overall recruits for his class. This shows the potential for Dues to garner more interest throughout his final two years of high school is there.

The Mountaineers are the biggest program to offer Dues, but schools like Akron, Eastern Kentucky, Kent State, Marshall and Miami (OH) are also looking to build a relationship with the Hurricane, W.Va native.

Dues’ official offer from Marshall came on June 25. He posted a video practicing foot work on July 3.

WVU also offered an in-state player from Huntington earlier in the week.
