Over the last few weeks the media have been sending in their ballots for the preseason All-Big 12 conference honors and today those teams and honors were announced. West Virginia senior offensive lineman Colton McKivitz was listed as a member of the preseason All-Big 12 First Team after a solid three years at right tackle.

During his three years as a starter, he has registered 35 starts in 38 games and helped guide the Mountaineer offense as one of the tops in the country over the last two years. Heading into his final year in Morgantown, he will be making the transition from right tackle to left tackle replacing three year starter Yodny Cajuste.

McKivitz is the only Mountaineer listed on this year’s preseason first team.
