When asked his thoughts on the WVU offer he replied, “I was super happy because I know West Virginia is a good school. This is going to be a really good football team in the next couple of years.”

He and coach Chad Scott are in the beginning stages of developing their relationship and said, “I can see myself going up there soon.” when talking about a potential visit.

Griffin also holds offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Central Michigan, Bowling Green, UMass and Baylor.
