Mountaineers offer 2021 Georgia linebacker

The West Virginia coaching staff has dug into the Peach State fairly hard this week, sending out many offers including one to 2021 linebacker Preston Lavant (Cordele, GA).

“I was shocked at how fast it happened because only a few hours before that I had received an offer from Akron.” Lavant said. “I’m extremely excited to see more about what their defense is like. I’ve heard about the great coaching skills of the coaching staff.” he added.

Lavant informed me that he “definitely” will be taking a trip up to Morgantown in the future, but a visit date has not been set just yet.
