2021 cornerback “speechless” after receiving WVU offer
Wednesday afternoon the Mountaineers sent out an offer to class of 2021 cornerback Darian “Duce” Chestnut of Camden, New Jersey.
Chestnut gave his thoughts on receiving the offer, “I was speechless and I’m glad that my hard work is paying off. It’s a great place to play football and spend your four years at college.”
The lead recruiter for Chestnut is co-offensive coordinator Chad Scott who he just began speaking with. “We haven’t really built a relationship yet, but I can tell we are going to have a really good relationship moving forward. I can definitely see myself visiting West Virginia. We haven’t discussed a date yet, but we are planning it out.” he said.
He also holds offers from NC State, Maryland, Rutgers, Temple and Baylor.
