West Virginia Receives AP Poll Votes for First Time this Season

For the first time in the 2021-22 season, the West Virginia men’s basketball team received Associated Press votes. West Virginia received 24 vote points on Monday.
The win on Wednesday over then-No. 15 UConn helped the cause for WVU to get credit. The Mountaineers are 9-1, with notable wins over UConn (56-53), Clemson (66-59), Oakland (60-53) and Pitt (74-59).

Around the Big 12 Conference, Baylor moved up to No. 1, after Purdue lost to Rutgers on the road this week.
