WV Sports Now Daily Notebook – August 30

The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia University Athletics.
Update (1:35 p.m.) –
West Virginia football has offered 2024 athlete Landan Callahan (5-foot-11, 160-pounds) from Reagan High School in Pfafftown, North Carolina.
Callahan is unrated as a prospect on 247Sports, but that is more likely due to him being a 2024 recruit as opposed to a lack of skills. He’s only gotten three offers thus far, but all three are power-five in Duke, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
EXTREMELY BLESSED to say i received my 3rd offer from WV 💛💙! @WVUfootball #gomountianeers AGTG ✝️thanks to @NealBrown_WVU @coachjtmcgee @next_fb pic.twitter.com/AQG7YxS3Uj
