The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia University Athletics.

**Update (4:00 p.m.) – 

Senior David Snider and junior Justin Heimes of WVU’s swimming and diving team competed in USA Swimming’s 2022 Phillips 66 U.S. National Championships in Irvine, California, on Friday.

Snider set a lifetime best time of 54.19 in the men’s 100-meter butterfly, finishing 36th overall while Heimes finished 63rd in the men’s 100-meter backstroke with a time of 57.84.
