The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia University Athletics.

Update (5:30 PM) – 

Listed at 5’10” and 200 pounds, three-star running back Traevon Dunbar, a Midland Valley High School prospect from Graniteville, South Carolina, posted an update to his list of potential schools. WVU is joined by Arkansas, Boston College, Maryland, Penn State and Virginia Tech. These are all programs Dunbar has already visited.

2024 3-Star RB Traevon Dunbar Includes West Virginia Among Top 6 Schools

Update (8:00 AM) – 

Chase Jackson, a class of 2024 CB recruit from Alabama, receives a WVU offer. Jackson is listed at 6’2” and 170 pounds.

Update (7:30 AM) –

Safety prospect Tony Mathis Jr., listed at 6’1”, 175 pounds and from Georgia, will visit WVU on April 22.
